Some time ago, when I was after a new job, I decided to "go for it" and write a resume where I really tried to communicate the "real me", instead of the standard "a high achieving executive who seeks a challenging....yada yada yada." The result of my effort was the following introduction: "I am a person who has high integrity, likes to get things done, positions other people to succeed, is intelligent and effective, is courageous, loves to network, often reflects, actively supports my colleagues and looks to them for support, wants to be the leader of a team exploring a new territory." In hindsight, it's a good description. (I didn't get the job.)
